I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The Simple and Easy Manager: What Managers Need to Know Before They Need to Know It by Ned Parks is a short read.

That doesn’t mean is not useful, on the contrary, it is very beneficial. The author describes the work life of a man, Quentin, and how he gradually learns to be a leader and a manager.

Through the story, tips and useful tactics and methods are presented on how anyone should think and work to be more productive and goal oriented.

Also, a plethora of methods is shown with examples in the workplace which are better understood this way than just by numbering steps to do.

The language of the book clear and doesn’t leave any shred for misunderstanding. It is obvious the author’s personal life and also works ethics into the story of the book.

It is an excellent prelude on how to behave, think and act if you want to be a successful manager and leader not just in the eyes of others.

You can be a great manager and leader of yourself which is something that not many people realize.
