I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The Golden Cage: From Entrapment to Empowerment by Margot Zaher, in my opinion, is a practical manual on how to recognize your psychological, emotional and other states of yourself.

Then it shows you how to evaluate if the situation you are in either being a marriage or any other relationship is good or bad for you.

After the evaluation, the author shows you with practical exercises and also from examples from her personal life on how to escape from the prison walls that our previous actions erected all around us.

This book is fantastic because it attacks the problem at its root. A lot of us are trapped in meaningless and unhappy relationships, jobs and situations that we wished to be doing something else or be somewhere else.

The reason that we continue living a life that we don’t want is fear for the unknown, and the writer manages to illustrate that in a beautiful and transparent way.

This book is terrific for people that wish to try and change their life towards the best and break free from the golden cage the author is telling in her book.
